Life after Homeschooling with many blessings

What better time in my life to start a blog....... I used to have a lot of purpose in my life to keep me busy, and all my time filled while I homeschooled my two daughters.  From kindergarten to high school, every day was filled with school, field trips, co-ops and living life in an educational manner.  Well both of my girls are finished with homeschooling, although I begged them to let me do homeschool College,  but I could not convince them no matter how much I pleaded with them.  So for the past 2 years I have been on vacation, or so it seemed after so many years of daily activities.  At first I didn't know what to do with my time, but as the  days turned into a couple of years, I have learned to enjoy this new chapter of my life.  Now all my time is filled with our upcoming wedding for our oldest daughter, and with church, and just daily life.  Soon we will be a family with one less person in the home, but with an added Son that we never had, and the excitement of seeing them start a new life together on their own.  Life gets more complicated as we grow older, and wiser, and realize that it would have been easier if we had known a little bit more when we were younger about preparing for the future.  Life has a way of getting away from you, and Loved ones come and some go on to heaven.  You realize that time is short, yesterday you were playing ring-a-round the rosy, and today your little girls are all grown up with grown up plans, and futures in the making.  Where did the time go, and how is it that all these beautiful children that you have loved, are all grown up, getting married, having babies, going on to make wonderful adults in this world, and making a difference with the way they touch everyone around them.  God has been so faithful to those in my circle of friends, and their children.  It is so fun to watch them turning into wonderfully Christ filled adults, making a difference in the world.  I feel so blessed to see God working in each of their lives, and watch them share Christ with so many. I am so truly blessed, and I am so thankful for all God has done in my life.....
