Pizza Pull Apart Bread

This is a recipe I almost always have the ingredients on hand.
It is one of my Go To recipes for entertaining.
It is made frequently on Sundays to eat while watching football.

Pizza pull apart bread

4 cans biscuits
1 jar spaghetti sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese. Or more if you like

Toppings of choice: what ever you like the best.
Pepperoni, sausage, onions, peppers, olives, mushrooms, pineapple, ham, banana peppers, tomatoes, etc.

Cut biscuits in half with scissors into a bowl with the sauce,
toss to coat, add toppings and half cheese and mix carefully,
pour into 9x13 pan coated with Pam,
bake at 400 degrees for 30 min or until middle of pan is cooked through.
May need longer time. Check the middle of pan for biscuit donness.

You Can make with Mexican flavor:
Use a jar of salsa, and toppings like onion, green chilies, olives, tomatoes, green onions, jalapeno, and cheddar cheese.

Cabbage Roll Casserole

A picture of me and the hubby at Christmas time,
before he shaved off his beard of 26+ years.

Cabbage Roll Casserole

1 Large head of cabbage
1 - 1/2 lbs ground beef (or meat loaf mix)
2 cups cooked rice
2 - 26 oz jars of spaghetti sauce or crushed Tomatoes
salt & pepper
onion powder
garlic powder

Begin by chopping the cabbage into bite size chunks.
In a large frying pan or a dutch oven, add enough
butter to cover the bottom and then some. Fry the
cabbage until it is tender, but not too mushy. When
done, put in a large bowl and hold for later in
recipe. Using the same fry pan or dutch oven, fry
ground beef until cooked!! mix meat and cooked rice
together adding salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic
powder & some of the tomato sauce to moisten the
mixture. In a 13X9 casserole pan, cover the bottom
with tomato sauce (about 1/4"), then layer cabbage,
meat & rice mix, and tomato sauce until pan's full.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes to 1 hour and
VIOLA!!! This feeds about 6  people.
